Sit on it… and Sit at it….

Just received a very nice load of chairs ex the Justice service, as new, all low mileage, one careful owner, back seat never used except to take the Mother in Law to the vets etc etc ….all available in stunning clerical grey which as we all know is the new clerical grey ……….except for the blue one!

We now have 14 up market as new jelly bean desks free from Barbie stickers and far too posh to have chewing gum stuck underneath. These really are something special and will definitely lift the ambiance of any morbid office……it’s time to spoil yourself for that little mid winter Christmas gift you deserve. Come see, but be warned, to see is to buy……

Bubbles in the bath…Just got easier

We have just had 14 sets of luxury German made bath conversions in, that convert a normal bath into a therapeutic spa bubble bath!

The normal retail price for these has been $2400, a high quality unit, and once the units have been checked over for compliance, we would estimate them selling around $495. They are brand new.

A perfect gift for the bathaholics, or stirring up the punch bowl at your next dinner function!

We did have a shipment of new carpet come in too, but as I am writing this……..it’s already sold. You have to be quick around here!

Help, we need your glasses!

We urgently need drinking glasses, ordinary, plain old drinking glasses, we cannot keep up with demand and we are sure that if everyone had a rummage around in the back of the kitchen cupboard they would find a few mismatched glasses that are rarely if ever used…..go on have a look and drop them, gently, off to us!

Also urgently required are men’s, boys and children’s clothing, all age groups please…baby wear is always needed but we have a supply and with the colder weather we are having an influx of folk looking for men’s and boys’ wear…..we are aware that most boys clothing gets a wee bit more of a battering than girls but there must be good clean warm and functional boys and men’s wear available……blokes don’t need designer labels after all!

What’s new pussy cat…..

We have had another house lot of good aluminum windows donated and we will start bringing these to the shop early this week. We have just sold the last house lot and welcome the replacement of this stock, especially as it will ensure a supply of the ever popular smaller sizes. They simply will not last so if you are considering an update or conversion to your existing windows, now is the time, first in gets the choice!

The donation of 9 fridges and 15 small size televisions have been sold and more are desperately needed to satisfy the demand we have generated, and another skip load or two has been diverted from the local tip…..small, good clean appliances have a home waiting for them…..help us put yours up for adoption!

Initial talks have taken place with a major carpet retailer with a view to obtaining short rolls and ends of rolls of new carpet, also larger carpet refits of commercial near new carpet when tenants change in commercial buildings. We are hoping to be in a position to offer much better quality in flooring products, all of the above will be on a donation basis…..more soon!

One of our regular customers is considering offering a redundant “class room” to the ReStore as a donation, early days but more will follow on this very shortly…

Welcome to our new blog!

Thanks for joining us, we hope you find this blog a great source of inspiration and enjoyment as well as finding out what the latest goodies that have been donated are.

This last week we had 10 portable televisions, 10 microwave ovens and 10 fridges all donated from some students rooms that were being renovated. The televisions are only $35 each, and so I snapped one up for my own room. It works well, so now when the rugby is on the main TV, I can escape.
